Getting to the point, lest I "Skirt The Issue'

I have an installation of luminescent sculpture currently at Gallery Sim, which I have named" Skirts The Issue".  I used clothing pattern paper to create a series of five skirts that are displayed on an iron curtain rod and suspended from the gallery lighting tracks.  Here are pictures:

Here I pose with "Skirts the Issue" (29" x 84" x 22")
suspended behind me at Gallery Sim on opening day. Behind me you can also make out Sim Cha making his signature Mimosas for opening day guests.

Sorry Maria, Yes those are pattern tissues. I love the graphics on them, and it's fun to use the graphics to design advantage when you're making something! Thanks, Marcia and Jill.

The skirts are such fun!!!! They also show a lot of movement. Clever how you don't make it from a pattern but with the pattern itself.
